I have the opening ceremonies on in the background while working...It's all pretty cool looking, impressive scale, etc - But I can't help thinking how it's a perfect set up for a Die Hard-esque plot.
All these world leaders in one stadium, in the middle of China. Suddenly during the ceremonies, the stadium is locked down and the Chinese government is holding everyone hostage!
Their plan is to kill them all, and take over the world, sucking it dry of all it's natural resources and then blasting off to their secret Chinese Moon Base.
What they didn't account for was John McClane. Somehow back in the doghouse after saving America in Die Hard with a Vengence, John finds himself lowly noodle salesmen in rural China.
Never being able to let go of his cop roots, he senses something is a fowl and sneaks into the stadium before the hostage crisis takes place.
Now he has to save all the world leaders and take down the Chinese government with the help of his spur-of-the-moment sidekick Yao Ming.
Will he rescue the world leaders?
Will he blow up China's Moon Base?
Will he save his noodle saleman business thing?

Creepy Carwash

Got my car washed the other week. I'm not sure if this is a nationwide chain...but here in Fairfield County we have the creepiest chain of carwash places. The mascot is a series of insane looking mannequins. One guy is in a raincoat (He's usually out by the road) and when you are done, you are greeted by this nice policeman who proceeds to haunt your nightmares for eternity.
Come back soon!

Mr. Pride
Pride with Bleach from Dutch West on Vimeo.
The last in the series from Dutch West. This one never made it on to SuperDeluxe, which is a shame because it's one of my favorites.
Chase Suddarth from Tomorrow's Nobody helped with the animation, and provided the lovely bacteria scene.

Eventually moving the ol blog
Over the next month or so, I'll be slowly building up a new blog using Tumblr (tumblr.com) - This site will still exist, but won't be updated, so if you want to visit old posts or whatever you can dig through the archives.
Tumblr's set up is pretty sweet and I can update stuff a lot easier or more often.
Just a heads up. Now back to work.

I love this picture

This is exactly how I looked the last time I ate a strawberry that was a big as my shell.
