Super Bubble

I took this picture a few months ago and decided to post it up today.
Me and Andy we're driving somewhere and stopped at a gas station where I saw a giant Super Bubble Tractor Trailer Truck. It just strikes me as odd that a 3rd rate bubble gum is in such demand that it needs it's own truck.

A rare sight

This past weekend Andy and Kristie went to a beer festival somewhere in upstate New York. It was here that they stumbled upon a shirt thought to be extinct since late 1994.

That's right, a "Big Johnson" T-Shirt
If you can't read what is on this caveman's shirt, I'll help you out:

Now I know some of you are probably thinking that this particular brand of trucks is made to be very tough, and has the power to go very fast...but this is not exactly true.

You see, "Big Johnson" was recently discovered to hold secret messages within it's labyrinth of brilliantly descriptive slogans.

What Big Johnson is actually saying is that if you walk around is a big boner sticking out of your pants, large breasted women will want to have casual sex with you.

BUT there's another layer to this masterpiece! The true message of Big Johnson is that if you are wearing one of these shirts, you are a loser.

Back to work...

After a whirlwind trip to Toronto, then follow that up with one of the most boring NFL drafts in recent memory - I'm ready to get back to work.
Toronto and March Entertainment was awesome - lots of work done, and new work to do.

So here's what I'm up to this week:
-Finish animation for new CollegeHumor project (Due to air Thursday)
-Continue building pitch for Nickelodeon
-Discuss new pilot with JustForLaughs.com
-Rework storyline for March Entertainment pilot
-Various freelance design and animation projects

Accidentally took this picture with my iPhone while running the other day. Not completely sure what's happening here, but I can only assume that I am running so fast that it's actually warping the Earth.



Another note, no podcast this week. Mike W. and I are heading up to Toronto for a couple days for a brainstorming session with March Entertainment.
I'll try to take some pictures and let you know what's going on.

AtariTendoSega is REAL!

This dude actually made a real AtariTendoSega just like in Clock Suckers: Game Over. Except his really works and doesn't send you in an alternate universe.

CHTV - Grand Theft Auto

CHTV's newest skit about Grand Theft Auto for the original Nintendo. I was asked to do the game cartridge artwork (At the end of the video and below). They gave me some general direction for the layout and said, "Anything inappropriate for kids"

The production of the video is great (as always) - but I feel like the skit is missing a big payoff, or something.

My night out

The other night I decided to head out to Chinatown to look for some Dried Tiger Penis. Things got rough pretty quick, but NOTHING gets between me and my Dried Tiger Penis. Luckily someone actually filmed the entire ordeal ALL IN ONE SHOT. Nevermind the last couple of seconds where I'm yelling gibberish.

Awesome?

Found these gems while shopping at Modell's yesterday (Moes! Moes! Moes!)

Shoes don't get much more corny than this. Whats worse is that these are clearly adult sized shoes. I could understand if these were made for little kids, but someone old enough to make their own decisions owns a pair of these somewhere in the world.

I'm not even sure if the Patriots would wear these.

The only thing that would make me want to buy these is if "18-1" or even better "19-0" appeared somewhere on them.

What I'm up to

It seems my days have been consumed with drawing tons of character art lately. That's part of the process with these new CH shorts. Here's a screenshot from the new one due out at the end of the month. We didn't write this one, but we should be doing the next one.


Other than that spending a lot of time on the Nickelodeon pitch and many other projects I'll fill you in on when I can.

I was so famous...

Not sure how old I was when I drew this amazing, in-depth, Garfield themed weather report for the Milford Citizen (Maybe 9-10?)...But it kick started my career as the world's first cartoon character based local paper weather reporter.

What sucks is that they didn't use my cartoon where Marmaduke is dressed up like a judge and suspends Trujillo's sentence.

Meaningless and cool

As of 8:00am this morning. "Transformers Go Hollywood" is the #1 rated comedy on YouTube.

Not too much new news going on this week. Just working on a lot of projects at once.
Here's a character for the this months CollegeHumor sketch. We didn't write this one, but we will probably write the next one.


Other than that, have another update email/meeting thing with Nickelodeon at the end of the week, working on the pilot for March Entertainment...and another CH project.
