Dave The Intern:Behind the...Musings?

As I sit here plotting to some how take over Mike's vast cartoon empire I muse (Ha! I bet you guys didn't think I was gonna actually refer to the title) about the last few weeks. I have always been a fan of cartoons. From my generation, the current college generation, we have many in our collective arsenal of animated memories. Such classics as, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug (of which I only watched cus of Porkchop, that rasically little dog), Animaniacs, and a slew of other such memorable names.

Now we live in an era of depravity with cartoons like Skunk Fu, or those laughable 3d abominations like Chop Sooky Chops. Now don't get me wrong, there are good cartoons out there for kids, and even better ones for people my age, to whom I say, look no further than Adult Swim. Nay, Spongebob and his ilk often pry a manly chuckle from even my throat. Samurai Jack, Justice League, and Dave the Barbarian(for those of you with more infantile humor) are classic cartoon for the currentish child ages 6-16.

I have absolutely no idea where I was going with this, I just wanted to sound smart and like I knew what I was doing. In all honesty, I wake up at 9:25, come here at 10, do whatever Mike has set up for me that day, come home, eat Ramen, and watch whatever I can catch on the TV. Truly, the sin of sloth is my favorite affront to God and the work place. I do know a lot about cartoons. Ask Mike, my DVD shrine to the cartoon gods is fairly epic. Plus I log a good 30 hours a day watching cartoons. I know, I know, a physical impossibility, but with a good internet connection and panache for web surfing, anything is possible.

For all who wonder, Mike is a pretty awesome boss. Yesterday, while we worked, we watched almost the entire first season of The Venture Bros. For those of you who have not seen this cartoon. It premiere's every Sunday night at 11:30 on Adult Swim aka the bastard burn out teenage son of Cartoon Network that only gets up late at night to give a hardy "Screw You" to the man and the promptly returns to sleep like "So many Fonzi." Thank you the Monarch.
But honestly, now that Mike's gone and done gave me his password to this thing, you shall have my innate ramblings at least once a week, along with a link to my favorite video. This week I give you an entire friggin episode! But mostly cus I like the first part. If this doesn't work...I'm going to cry... and then actually post the video.
